I've put a few books away partially read because of it.
RE: The popularity of “could care less” cannot be underestimatedhttp://blog.boyet.com/blog/blog/the-popularity-of-ldquo-could-care-less-rdquo-cannot-be-underestimated/#comment-1144Sat, 28 Jan 2012 11:18:44 GMThttp://blog.boyet.com/blog/blog/the-popularity-of-ldquo-could-care-less-rdquo-cannot-be-underestimated/#comment-1144Will Watts
Try http://youtu.be/om7O0MFkmpw
RE: The popularity of “could care less” cannot be underestimatedhttp://blog.boyet.com/blog/blog/the-popularity-of-ldquo-could-care-less-rdquo-cannot-be-underestimated/#comment-1143Fri, 27 Jan 2012 17:38:41 GMThttp://blog.boyet.com/blog/blog/the-popularity-of-ldquo-could-care-less-rdquo-cannot-be-underestimated/#comment-1143Michael Thuma
My English is far from being a solid one. I would assume

could = would

So the one who says, 'I could care less' finally advises his opposite - 'I would care less' (in your case) and with the times the element of advising someone else disappeared.

I don't know ... but 'I couldn't care less'.
RE: Agile New Year resolutionshttp://blog.boyet.com/blog/blog/agile-new-year-resolutions/#comment-1141Wed, 25 Jan 2012 17:57:55 GMThttp://blog.boyet.com/blog/blog/agile-new-year-resolutions/#comment-1141julian m bucknall
Anne: excellent idea in choosing tap dance over gym membership. With tap, you get the same exercise but _you don't notice_ since you're having such a great time just learning. That's kind of meta-agile: you complete your original goals _doing something else_.

Cheers, Julian
RE: Agile New Year resolutionshttp://blog.boyet.com/blog/blog/agile-new-year-resolutions/#comment-1140Wed, 25 Jan 2012 07:25:19 GMThttp://blog.boyet.com/blog/blog/agile-new-year-resolutions/#comment-1140Anne
This is what I am trying this year. I usually don't do resolutions because I don't really believe in them, but this year I was in the right "zone" somehow. Having spent Christmas and New Year in Edinburgh I felt it really was time for a change.

I didn't resolve to anything in particular, it was more along the line "Get up and do more stuff", which you could say is a bit unspecific, but since I didn't have anything particular in mind, it felt good enough for me.

It's the end of January now and I'm pretty happy so far.

I've taken up guitar lessons, am waiting to hear back for a tap dance class, written a lot more on my blog and generally spent more time actually "doing" stuff.

I guess the lesson is to find goals that really match what you're aiming for. And, more than that, I resolved to not do anything that didn't seem like fun. So no gym membership for me, I'd rather try some tap dancing.
RE: Agile New Year resolutionshttp://blog.boyet.com/blog/blog/agile-new-year-resolutions/#comment-1139Wed, 25 Jan 2012 00:08:09 GMThttp://blog.boyet.com/blog/blog/agile-new-year-resolutions/#comment-1139Mehul Harry
Great post Julian and I love your Agile approach. :)
RE: Tintin: the British cars in The Black Islandhttp://blog.boyet.com/blog/blog/tintin-the-british-cars-in-the-black-island/#comment-1138Mon, 23 Jan 2012 15:34:18 GMThttp://blog.boyet.com/blog/blog/tintin-the-british-cars-in-the-black-island/#comment-1138julian m bucknall
Will: we used to have a Ford Zephyr too, an earlier model than the one depicted here. Dad exchanged it for his first new car: a [Ford Corsair](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Corsair). We didn't keep it long because we moved to France and Dad had a (French) company car (and hence avoided all those problems about left vs right-hand drive, those yellow headlights, etc).

Cheers, Julian
