Weird XML bug on iPad when displaying this site

The call came though the batphone from Mehul Harry : he was seeing an issue displaying blog posts from this site on an iPad. It was a new one on me and I quickly checked on my iPad using Safari: no problem. After a bit of back-and-forth, we’d nailed it down. If you navigated to a blog post via the Facebook app, the iPad displayed an XML error (due to the missing schema, essentially). HTML5 and validation issues with this blog

OK, I was nuts. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, right? But what the heck, it’s part of the technology stack I’m supposed to know and use and promote, and furthermore I have a text editor and know how to use it. The issue is I’ve switched this blog to HTML5 markup rather than XHTML, which is what it was before.
